What are the OTAP OT Awards?
You deserve to be recognised for what you do. That’s the founding principle behind OTAP, and it’s why we created the OT Awards.
Excellence in occupational therapy isn’t easy.
It requires patience, compassion and clinical competence, combined with a deep understanding of therapeutic approaches and interventions.
It means enabling clients to lead fulfilling lives, while simultaneously managing stakeholders and complex interpersonal situations.
It demands long hours with clients, and longer ones in professional development.
Excellence isn’t easy. It’s rare.
The OTs who strive for it, who dedicate their lives to helping others – they deserve to be recognised.
And now, with the OT Awards, they can be.
How can I enter the OT Awards?
We believe the best judges of an occupational therapist’s excellence are the people they help.
To enter the OT Awards, an occupational therapist must be submitted by one or more client(s). Each submission should be accompanied by a personal story from the client explaining the impact their OT has had on their life.
Once entries have closed, a panel of occupational therapy experts will review each story and select one winner.
What kind of prizes are there?
OTAP has partnered with leading Australian hospitality companies like [X Company] and [Y Company] to create a prize worthy of our members: an all-inclusive seven-night stay in some of the world’s most beautiful locations.
Flights, food and accommodation – it’s all paid for. You’ve helped your clients take back their lives, and now it’s our turn to do the same for you.
Once entries for each round of the OT Awards open, we’ll announce the destination and accommodation on this page. Each round will have one winner, who will receive an all-inclusive holiday for themselves and a partner.
